As a small group of full-time engineering students, our elective board dedicates over 200 volunteer hours in planning and hosting our annual outreach event, Imagineer Day, which is funded primarily by our own section, in addition to generous local donors. Fortunately, the hard work that goes into the event has not gone unnoticed: participant surveys show that 96% of your young students enjoyed Imagineer Day 2016, and 47% indicated that they want to become engineers.
By contributing to our organization, your donation will help us fund all lab activities and provide snacks, lunch, goodie-bags, certificates, and event-day t-shirts for 230 young students this year. In addition, due to popular demand, we are excited to announce that we will be adding a NEW 7th-8th grade full-day Robotics lab! All donors will be acknowledged during the event’s welcome and closing ceremonies, and company donations will be acknowledged on our event-day t-shirts (unless preferred otherwise). Furthermore, your donation is tax deductible and we will provide our tax ID if you choose to donate.
